小儿厌食症的治疗，宜理脾、开胃、舒肝，认为脾与肾相互依存、相互影响．小儿五脏皆虚，肾虚为最；厌食与缺锌互为因果，补肾即所以补锌，指出从肾论治体现了辨证论治的整体观念。
