俞正燮(1775—1840)字理初,安徽黟县人。清代著名学者。以其《癸巳类稿》《癸巳存稿》名噪于世。两书内容宏富,博通古今,又博而能断,成绩卓著。俞氏布衣,终生为他人编书校书,癸巳两稿八百馀篇文章,正是编书校书的心得记录。“理初手成宏钜书不自名者甚夥。”(程恩泽《癸已类稿序》)署名者仅一二见,许多已不为人所知,现就所能考者列于下。一五代史记补注为大学士彭元瑞、编修刘凤诰撰叶名澧《桥西杂记》:“彭文勤公元瑞《五代史记补注》粗有条例,以付刘金门侍郎凤诰,侍郎延理初(?)卒成之。”
