对水竹生长特性和竹笋物理性状与营养成分研究表明,水竹笋期为4月中下旬至6月中旬,其中5月3日~5月30日为出笋高峰期,是竹笋产量形成的重要阶段。竹笋含丰富的蛋白质和无机元素,笋味脆爽味美,风味独特。野生竹林可通过改善竹林环境、建立丰产竹林结构、改善改进竹笋采收方法和施肥抚育等技术措施改造利用。为保证竹林的更新复壮,应在出笋盛期做好留笋养竹工作,每年留养新竹0.4~0.5万株/hm2,使竹林密度保持在2.0万株/hm2左右
