古诗是汉语语言意合特征的高度体现。古诗英译中,译者不可避免地要根据原诗的意境补出人称以符合英文重形合的表达习惯。对于同一首诗词的意境,不同的译者可能会有不同的理解,进而会选取不同的人称视角进行翻译。本文以唐诗《春晓》的四个英译本为例,详细分析了各个译本中选用不同人称所产生的情景联想和抒情效果,从而得出,对原诗意境的正确理解在确定人称的问题上起着决定性的作用。
Ancient poetry is a highly manifestation of the characteristics of Chinese language parataxis. English translation of ancient poetry, the translator inevitably according to the original poetic mood to make up people in order to meet the recitation of English language habits. For the same poem mood, different translators may have different understanding, and then will choose different perspectives for translation. Taking the four English versions of the poem Chun Xiao as an example, this paper analyzes in detail the situational associations and lyrical effects produced by the selection of different personal names in the translations, and concludes that the correct understanding of the original poetic mood begins with the question of determining the person’s name A decisive role.
