很多人以为,要想感冒好得快,多喝开水,多吃水果,营养充足,病才好得快。其实,发烧宜饿不宜吃,因为饥饿可以使机体产生大量对抗急性细菌感染的物质。澳大利亚研究人员分析了半世纪以来“患呼吸道感染的病人对水分吸收”的数据后发现,没有任何证据表明补充水分有益于康复,反而发现不少病例由于饮用了大量水分,导致血液中的钠元素严重匮乏,引起身体其它功能紊乱。所以在身体没有任何脱水迹象时,不建议饮用大量水来对抗呼吸道感染疾病。
