我国煤矿开采生产中,露天开采仅占4.8%,剩余95%以上需要在地下完成,而原煤开采完成后需要利用机电设备来从地下运输到地表,因此机电运输在煤矿作业开采过程中承担着重要的任务。煤矿机电运输因具有设备多、线长、面广和点散等特点而极易发生各类事故,统计显示,机电运输事故占到了煤矿事故总数的20%~30%,因此控制好煤矿机电运输事故的发生率,对于改善煤矿企业的生产安全状况至关重要。
