It has been demonstrated that a monthly intramuscular injection of acetophenone metal hydroxyprogesterone (DHPA) 150 mg and estradiol valerate (E2-EN) 10 mg complex is a highly effective contraceptive with minimal clinical side effects and rarely affects the uterus Endometrial bleeding.
