利用大型城市铁路枢纽线路开行市郊列车不仅是对铁路资源的充分利用,而且在完善并优化城市轨道交通体系、合理使用轨道交通资源、配合并引导城市建设与发展等方面均具有重要意义。城市轨道交通体系应基于中心城区、近郊、远郊之间联系强度的大小来构建,采取不同层次的轨道交通配置,发展市郊铁路可以完善大城市轨道交通体系;天津铁路枢纽有能力富余的铁路可作为城市轨道交通体系的一部分,承担城市轨道交通功能;利用既有的干线铁路,通过适当改造使其具备开行市郊列车的功能对于天津市建立轨道交通体系、促进区域经济发展、新型城镇化建设等方面具有重要意义。本文通过介绍津蓟线市郊列车的开行模式并分析津山线开行天津中心城区至宁河区市郊列车的必要性和可行性,市郊列车的开行可极大促进郊区经济社会的快速发展。
