目前,银可以通过更高效环保的方法进行提取。拉彭兰塔科技大学(LUT)的研究者使用一种环保的离子交换工艺从工艺废水中提取银。这项工艺和流程具有挑战性,但研究者还是成功地提取出了质量分数高达72%的银。LUT和Outotec公司合作测试了使用离子交换法从高浓度的氯化物溶液中提取银。采用该工艺可以得到银溶液,其中银质量分数高达72%。最终,银的产出量也不错,比一些传统方法要好。该流程高效环保,因为离子交换法需要的能量较少,且没有气体排放。
Currently, silver can be extracted by more efficient and environmentally friendly methods. Researchers at Lappeenranta University of Technology (LUT) use an environmentally friendly ion exchange process to extract silver from process wastewater. This process and procedure was challenging, but the researchers succeeded in extracting silver with a mass fraction of 72%. LUT and Outotec Corporation tested the use of ion exchange method to extract silver from high chloride solution. Silver can be obtained by this process, in which the mass fraction of silver is as high as 72%. In the end, the output of silver was not bad, better than some traditional methods. The process is highly efficient and environmentally friendly because ion exchange methods require less energy and have no gas emissions.
