Chairman Mao personally attended and made an important speech in Ruijin, Jiangxi Province, which is an important manifestation of Chairman Mao’s thinking on economic construction and working methods. In January 1934, the second national Soviet Congress was held in Ruijin. Comrade Mao Zedong made a long report to the deputies on behalf of the Central Executive Committee of the Chinese Soviet Republic and the People’s Committee. The ”Resolution on the Soviet Economic Construction“ passed at this congress fully embodies Comrade Mao Zedong’s thinking on economic construction. The Resolution on the Soviet Economic Construction put forward: ”We must further develop it."
