随着“绿色南京”“、绿色浦口”的推进,浦口区苗木面积迅猛发展,为充分发挥资源优势,近年来,浦口区示范推广了一系列林农间套作新模式,通过林农间套作的种植,合理间套各种农作物和经济作物,不仅营造较好的林木生长环境,而且更好地提高了土地资源利用率,实现了生态系统的良性循环,取得了显著的经济、社会、生态效益。着重介绍了浦口区示范推广的“马褂木/西瓜—鲜食玉米—蚕豆”、“早红李(/小麦+西瓜)——秋玉米”“、意扬/冬瓜——大蒜”等三种林农间套作新模式,并从种植方式、品种选用、茬口布局、栽培技术、产量与效益等方面进行了介绍论述。
