著名的捷克教育家夸美纽斯说:“一切知识都是从感观开始的.”语言知识的学习亦是如此.笔者在从事《中学英语教材教法》的教学以及在对我区中学教学实际的调查中深刻地体会到了一这点.学生对所学的语言材料的全方位的感性认识程度影响着其学习效率,制约着真实自然的语言习惯的形成.如何利用多种教学手段,创设各种直观、主动、真实的情景以便充分调动学生的感觉系统,强化学生对语言材料的感性认识以及怎样结合情景用英语教学从而培养学生的英语思维习惯就成了教师在教学实际中必须解决的问题了.本文拟就这个问题以单词的情景教学为例,谈谈自己一些肤浅的体会和看法.
