Between 1986 and 1999, the television programs in China’s Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan showed similar features to those of today. They attracted audiences through strong contrast and special sentences, and also reflected certain characteristics of the age and were closely related to the social life of the time. Through statistical analysis, it is found that the names of the three places have obvious differences. Taiwan is more classical and Hong Kong uses more dialects. The mainland is relatively straightforward, mainly related to the theme, dialect and cultural atmosphere that each of them craves. The analysis of television dramas in this year will help to understand the society behind the language and further think about the art of naming.
