初见喜元先生所作之黄宾虹老先生肖像画作,即感清雅。画面构图沉稳大气,人物造型朴实严谨,以形带神,注重将情感运于笔墨之间,却绝不以笔墨伤害画面造型。用色可谓沉而不暗,黑白相间的布鞋,深浅错落的灰袍,饱满红润的面颊,一个真实、丰满的老者形象跃然纸上,给人以用色上“沉稳”的分寸感和“劲健”的力度感,却又没有燥、躁之气。画作在深浅交织、光影错落的表达中,漾出些许雅致的格调。
Mr. Kimberley first made a portrait of Mr. Huang Binhong portraits, that is elegant.
