Many pregnant women and doctors hope that pre-production preparations include autologous donation, for fear of possible concurrent infection after transfusion, such as hepatitis and human immunodeficiency virus infection. However, blood bank staff are less enthusiastic about this work because of potential three problems: the safety of blood supply, the limited application and cost issues. The authors believe: ① acute blood loss during pregnancy leads to maternal shock, resulting in a threat to the fetus. Pregnant women with their own minimal physical impact on blood supply. Although sometimes the mother may have iron deficiency, fetal hemoglobin is not affected because the placenta will still get enough iron from the mother, even though the mother is deficient in iron. ② Although perinatal blood transfusion rate is very low, but it can not cancel the blood transfusion or even significantly reduce blood transfusion, during childbirth
