Objective To understand the actual infection status of four infectious diseases of HIV, HCV, HBsAg and syphilis in blood donation population and provide the basis for the formulation of preventive policies. Methods 1615 blood donors in four districts were investigated by using serum epidemiological methods and behavioral questionnaires. Results The positive rates of HIV, HCV, HBsAg and syphilis were 0.25%, 33.87%, 14.74% and 0.93%, respectively. Conclusion The four infectious diseases are found in the blood donors. The related behavioral research shows that the infection of HCV and HBsAg is closely related to the gender, the time of blood donation (blood plasma), the blood supply (pulp) and the mode of blood supply. The HIV infection may be recent infection, syphilis Only 15 cases were found.
