The 17th Meeting of the Deputy Directors of the Cooperation among the U.S., Europe, Japan, Korea and Five Councils Held in Germany April 11-12, 2017 The 17th meeting of the Deputy Directors of the Five Inventions Organizations was held in Munich, Germany. Raymond Ludz, Deputy Director of the European Patent Office, hosted the meeting. He Zhimin, deputy director of the State Intellectual Property Office of the People's Republic of China, Komaki Kuriwa, chief technocrat of the Japan Patent Office, Li Yongda, deputy director of the Korea Patent Office, and Mark Powell, deputy director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office Led a delegation to attend the meeting. John Sandage, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), attended the meeting as an observer.
