This article gives a brief introduction of the human respiratory model proposed by the International Commission on Radiological Protection in 1994. Mainly describes the characteristics of the model and the pattern of deposition of radionuclides in the respiratory tract and the ways of clearance; some of the radiation-sensitive tissues and cells, as well as the method of calculating the target tissue dose
