2010年6月20～22日,作为《中国科学》和《科学通报》(以下简称“两刊”)创刊60周年系列活动之一和中国化学会第27届学术年会的分会之一,由中国科学院学部科普和出版工作委员会与《中国科学》杂志社共同主办的“化学的创新与发展论坛”在厦门大学召开.中国科学院副院长李静海院士、中国科学院学部科普和出版工作委员会主任及“两刊”总主编朱作言院士、国家自然科学基金委员会化学部常务副主任梁文平研究员、南方科技大学校长朱清时院士、南开大学周其林院士、香港科技大学唐本忠院士等十多位知名专家和学者应邀在论坛上作专题报告.另外,《中国科学:化学》主编黎乐民院士应邀参加了教育部科技委化学化工学部年度工作会议,并做了相关报告.现将上述活动的情况整理成文刊出,希望引起大家的关注.
