以前我们学苏联,后来发现走不通。接着我们学韩国,可发现有危险。我们为何屡屡受挫呢?扪心自问,我们有多少人了解过印度、巴西等发展中国家的佼佼者,又有谁关注过蒙占或越南等近邻的经济现状?兼听则明,偏听则暗。我们走过鸦片战争以来的一百多年,是否真正放下天朝大国的架子?因此,顾纪端教授的这本书不一定有石破天惊的效果,但或许有拾缺补遗的功益,读来不无裨益。
