Tuberculosis prevention and control in Japan began in 1947, after which the mortality rate of tuberculosis dropped year by year. The most important factor affecting the decline in tuberculosis mortality is the use of chemotherapy, but it is also true that the tuberculosis death rate in many countries has dropped before the discovery of chemotherapy. From this we can see that the prevalence of tuberculosis is affected by many factors. First, talk about the epidemiology of tuberculosis. Epidemiological indicators of tuberculosis 3: prevalence rate, morbidity and mortality. At present, the annual prevalence rate in Japan is 400/10 million with an incidence of 100 / 100,000 and a death rate of 7-8 / 100,000. In the statistics on the causes of death in Japan, tuberculosis dropped from the past to the current 11th place.
