工会是中国共产党领导下的一个重要群众团体,是党联系广大职工的桥梁和纽带。在改革开放的当今时代,教育面临着新技术革命与西方敌对势力推行“和平演变”的严峻挑战,如何充分发挥工会组织四大职能中的“教育职能”,是摆在新时期工会工作者面前的一个新问题。我们认为,在高校积极开展教职工的思想政治工作,是学校各级工会组织责无旁贷的一项重要任务。青年教师在学校起着承上启下的重要作用。青年教师的健康成长,对于坚持正确的办学方向、深化教育改革、搞好师资队伍建设、提高教学质量都有着密切的关系。因此,把青年教师的培养工作放到学校的重要议事日程上,全面地关心他们,建设一支政治坚定、业务良好、教风严谨的青年教师队伍是关系到高等教育事业今天与明天的大事。
