《建筑综合论》是张乾源先生60年建筑实践和理论学习的积淀性成果,内容涵盖建筑理论、建筑实践、室内装修和房地产开发等建筑领域,以张乾源职业生涯作为最好的例证,对中国半个世纪以来的建筑创作历程回顾和经验总结。张乾源先生认为“建筑综合论是:建筑是政治经济、规划交通、功能实用、艺术美观、科学技术、社会文化、工业材料、环境绿化、节地节能、低碳减排、生态环保和安全信息的综合体”。这些对建筑设计的思考是其在建筑设计领域的表述,张乾源先生长达半个世纪的建筑实践活动为该理论提供最好例证。
