我国加入WTO后,公安机关在管理体制、工作机制、队伍素质等方面,都将受到全方位的挑战。广东公安机关应充分发挥自身的优势,利用入世后有限的过渡期,抓住机遇,积极应对,主动适应,牢牢掌握入世后公安工作的主动权。要增强政权意识,维护政治稳定;强化打防控机制,提高驾驭治安局势的能力;改革治安行政管理制度,为经济建设服务;加强公安法制建设,努力提高执法水平;加大培训力度,全面提高民警素质;加强国际间的警务交流与合作。
After China’s accession to the WTO, the public security organs will face all-round challenges in terms of management system, working mechanism, and team quality. The public security organs in Guangdong should give full play to their own advantages and make use of the limited transition period after China’s accession to the WTO. They should seize the opportunities, respond positively and take the initiative to adapt to them. They should firmly grasp the initiative of public security after their accessions to the WTO. It is necessary to strengthen the awareness of political power and safeguard political stability. We must strengthen the system of prevention and control and improve the ability to control the security situation. We should reform the system of public security administration and serve economic construction. We should strengthen public security and legal system and strive to raise the level of law enforcement. Quality of police; strengthen international police exchanges and cooperation.
