当下英语教学改革的目标是学生英语综合能力的提升,而作为学生英语综合能力之一的翻译能力却非常薄弱,大学公共英语翻译教学滞后,其滞后的原因除学生自身基础知识的掌握不扎实外,还有其外在的原因,国家政策的支持力度不够,没有统一的翻译课程设置和课程标准,没有统一的公共英语翻译课程教材,教师的英语专业技能不足导致了翻译教学的滞后。
At present, the goal of English teaching reform is to improve students’ comprehensive ability of English while their translation ability as one of students’ comprehensive ability in English is very weak. The teaching of public English translation in college lags behind. The reason for their lagging behind is that students’ mastery of their own basic knowledge is not solid There are also external causes, inadequate support for national policies, lack of a unified translation curriculum and curriculum standards, lack of uniform materials for public English translation courses, and insufficient teachers’ professional English skills, which have led to the lag in translation teaching.
