卫生部已经提请国务院取消医疗广告。3月7日上午,全国政协十届三次会议医卫界委员联组会议上,国家卫生部、药监局、工商总局领导到场听会,卫生部常务副部长高强说,一些医疗服务应无偿向群众提供,不应收费,更不应做广告;同时,赚百姓的钱做广告也不合适;不断增多的虚假医疗广告更要坚决取缔。高强称,目前正在拟订相关方案报国务院,拟取消医疗广告,“以后所有卫生部门不再承担医疗广告鉴定的任务”。
