随着我国现代化建设进程的日益加快和对外交流的不断扩大,专业英语的翻译需求量越来越大。要真正掌握翻译本领,不仅需要具备扎实的英语语言知识,还必须熟悉英语专业知识,在翻译中必须遵循一定的原则和技巧。本文针对专业英语中专业词汇多、中西文化差异大、专业知识强等特点,提出了一些具体的翻译措施,以求在准确理解原文的基础上,忠实通顺地表达原文。
With the accelerating process of China’s modernization and the continuous expansion of foreign exchange, the demand for translation of professional English is getting larger and larger. To truly grasp the translation skills, not only need to have a solid knowledge of English language, you must also be familiar with English professional knowledge, translation must follow certain principles and techniques. This article aims at the characteristics of professional English, such as many specialized vocabulary, large differences between Chinese and Western cultures, strong professional knowledge and so on, and proposes some concrete translation measures in order to express the original text fluently and faithfully on the basis of accurate understanding of the original text.
