《语文课程标准》明确提出:1~2年级要“多认少写”。这一识字策略的改变,大大加快了学生认字的速度,为学生及早进入阅读奠定了基础。从而让学生提前进入阅读,以提高学生的读写能力。《语文课程标准》在“教学建议”中还特别指出,阅读教学要“培养学生广泛的阅读兴趣,扩大阅读面,增加阅读量,提倡少做题,多读书,读好书,好读书,读整本的书。鼓励学生自主选择阅读材料”。联合国教科文组织的研究也表明,儿童阅读能力培养的关键期是小学一二年级,即8岁左右进入
