此次志愿者的行动值得学习,值得宣传,值得总结。——广东省民政厅厅长刘洪2015年6月1日发生的“东方之星”游轮翻沉事故,牵动着全国人民的心,也牵动着殡葬服务从业者的心。广东殡葬专业志愿者服务队从6月3日至6日在监利殡仪馆一线工作现场,协助当地殡葬部门清洗整理了近400具遇难者遗体,成为处理遇难者遗体的主要力量之一。他们用自己实际行动传递了人间大爱,抚慰了遇难者家属,树立了广东殡葬人敢于担当的良好形象。
