Children’s rights are those benefits, qualifications, powers or freedoms to be enjoyed by children recognized as legitimate by law, morality or custom and not derogable for any reason, such as survival, development, protection, etc. Children’s self-evident and innate rights have been enshrined in domestic and foreign legal texts such as the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Law of the People’s Republic of China on the Protection of Minors. However, their rights are vulnerable because of the child’s weakness, and therefore the Convention on the Rights of the Child establishes the principle that all acts involving children should be conducted in the most child-friendly manner
