延安精神之“魂”在于坚定不移的共产主义理想信念。它是我党最宝贵的精神财富,是中华民族优秀传统的精华,是构建和谐社会的强大动力,是落实科学发展观的源动力。胡锦涛同志在全国加强和改进大学生思想政治教育工作会议上的讲话中深刻指出:“理想信念,是一个政党治国理政的旗帜,是一个民族奋力前行的向导,也是有志青年奋发向上的动力。开展大学生思想政治教育,必须紧紧抓住理想信念教育这个核心。”
