近几年,郑州干旱发生频繁,对全市的农业生产和人民生活造成了严重影响。2014年郑州更是遭遇63年不遇的高温少雨天气,导致秋作物大面积受旱,尤其是西部丘陵山区旱情更加严重。在市委、市政府的正确领导下,在各涉农部门、各级单位的共同努力下,郑州市2014年的秋粮生产克服了干旱等诸多不利因素的影响,取得了较好的收成。据郑州市农委统计,全市秋粮种植面积257.85万亩,总产量75.66万吨,比2013年减少8.43万吨,减产10%。
