Helicobacter pylori (HP) is one of the most infective bacteria in the world. It was cultivated by Australian scholar Warren and his colleague Marshall in 1982 from gastric mucosal tissue of patients with chronic gastritis and peptic ulcer. Nobel Prize in Physiology and Medicine. HP infections are globally distributed and affect almost half of the world’s population. Chinese Medical Association Gastroenterology
