老舍小说《离婚》中刻画了两组女性人物形象:一组是生命被男权中心社会肆意践踏,生命意识淡化乃至沦丧的旧女性;一组是女性生命意识在生存与精神压迫的双重困境中突围、挣扎着醒来的新女性。在封建旧道德与男权文化的压迫下,她们无一例外地面临着人生悲剧:前者背负沉重的生命之枷以致被侮辱被损害;后者虽然发现了自我,并企图寻找自我,仍以失败而告终。
