中国汞矿,古今中外有名,汞矿几乎遍及全国。其中,贵州、湖南、四川、广西和云南等省产汞最多,而贵州一省探明储量和年产汞量均占全国总量的80%以上,有“汞矿省”之称。中国汞矿资源,在世界上仅次于西班牙和意大利,名列第三。本资料根据最近出版的《中国汞矿成因及其找矿预测》(花永丰编著,贵州人民出版社1982年出版)一书,摘述如下。产出多层性中国汞多产在一定的地层内,从前震旦系到第三系都有。其中寒武系和第三系汞矿最多,规模最大。它们主要赋存在碳酸盐(灰岩、白云质灰岩、白云岩)地层中,有明显的多层性。不仅在一个省、一个矿带、一个矿区有成层现象,就是在一块标本上也出现典型的多层性。贵州著名的万山汞矿是多层成矿的典型代表,矿体以似层状、透
