In the industrialized countries of the world today, heavy-duty trucks traveling on highways are one of the most demanding markets for advanced technology and equipment for diesel applications. High specific power and reliability, low fuel consumption is always the development of automotive diesel engines. Since the 1980s, due to the importance that each country places on the protection of the ecological environment, a new automobile engine emission regulation has been drafted accordingly.
