根据长江路的区位特点和现状自然条件,按照“多种树、多色彩、多植物、多层次、三季有花、四季常青”的绿化原则,紧扣生态文化主题,沿路绿地景观设计结合路口设立景观节点。植物配置以乡土植物为基础,注重生态群落布局,大量采用当地树种,易粗放管理,符合当地市情。在铺装和照明上也注重了艺术造型和节能特点,使绿化达到了道路景观带所兼备的生态价值、美学价值,更好的突出了长江路绿化特色,达到了改善区域环境、有效利用绿地资源长效发展的目的。通过改造为居民创造了生态、和谐的城市环境,与当地“平原森林城市”的城市特色相吻合。
