“文如其人”是一个古老的文艺学命题 ,一直得到来自创作实践和文艺理论两个方面的有力支持。据此就有不少论者仅仅满足于对它所作的简单机械的注解 ,然而这都无法解释“文人相悖”的现象。根本在于 ,决不能把这里的“人”仅仅理解为作家的生活个性 ,而应当着重理解为作家的创作个性 ,后者必定要以风格的面目在作品中表现出来。当然 ,这两种个性形成也是有联系的 ,更都是会变化的和复杂的。只有这样来全面、深刻地认识和阐述“文如其人”的论断 ,才是现代文艺学科学的观点
“Man is a Man” is an ancient proposition of literature and art, and has always been strongly supported by both creative practice and literary theory. As a result, there are quite a few commentators who are simply content with the simple mechanical explanations of it. However, this does not explain the phenomenon of “contradictions between literati”. The fundamental point is that the “person” here must never be understood merely as the individual character of the writer, but rather as an author’s creative personality, which must be manifested in the style in a style. Of course, the formation of these two kinds of personality is also related, and more likely to be changing and complex. Only in this way can we comprehensively and profoundly understand and elaborate the thesis that “people like the text”, is the viewpoint of the science of modern literature and art
