【新華社北京六日電】爲規定古蹟、珍貴文物、圖書和稀有生物保護辦法及頒發‘古文化遺址及古墓葬之調查發掘暂行辦法’事,中央人民政府政務院,特發出通令。通令稱:“我國所有名勝古蹟,及藏於地下,流散各處的有關革命、歷史、藝術的一切文物圖書,皆爲我民族文化遺產。今後對文化遺產的保管工作,爲經常的文化建設工作之一。茲爲保護上述古蹟、文物、圖書,除現有保護辦法照舊適用並制定‘古文化遺址及古墓葬之調查發掘暂行辦法’頒發外,特規定下列辦法。 (一)各地原有或偶然發現的一切具有革命、歷史、藝術價值之建築、文物、圖書等,應由各該地方人民政府文教部門及公安機關妥爲保護,嚴禁破壞,損毀及散佚;並詳細登記(孤本、珍品並應照像)呈報中央人民政將文化部。
