随着电子技术的日益普及,传统的词典也在不断地更新换代。电子词典由于方便实用比普通词典更为广大使用者所接受,但是学生过分依赖电子词典给英语词汇学习带来的害处却不可忽视。本文通过对部分学生的问卷调查及词汇测试,希望说明使用电子词典学外语的弊端,提醒学生挑选一本好的传统词典对英语词汇学习的好处要大大多于电子词典。同时,实验结果也建议教师有必要改进词汇测试的传统方法。
With the increasing popularity of electronic technology, the traditional dictionary is constantly upgrading. Electronic dictionaries are more acceptable than general dictionaries because of their convenience and utility. However, students’ overdependence on electronic dictionaries can not neglect the harmful effects of English vocabulary learning. This paper, through questionnaire survey and vocabulary test to some students, hopes to explain the disadvantages of using electronic dictionaries and reminds students to choose a good traditional dictionaries to greatly benefit English Vocabulary Learning than electronic dictionaries. At the same time, the results also suggest that teachers need to improve the traditional method of vocabulary testing.
