由于系统带宽的限制,目前合成孔径雷达(SAR)向地面设备传送回波数据时通常采用数据压缩技术。文中详细讨论了目前SAR原始数据压缩方面的三类技术,即标量量化技术、矢量量化技术以及变换域编码技术。结合实测机载SAR原始数据对各种算法经过压缩、解压缩得到的数据进行SAR成像处理并计算了相应的图像域参数,在详细分析了各种算法的优缺点同时,指出从量化性能和复杂性综合角度来看,矢量量化技术更适合SAR原始数据压缩。
Due to system bandwidth limitations, data compression techniques are commonly used when Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) transmits echo data to ground equipment. The paper discusses in detail the three kinds of techniques of SAR raw data compression, namely scalar quantization, vector quantization and transform domain coding. Combining the measured data of airborne SAR with the original data, the data of various algorithms after being compressed and decompressed are processed for SAR imaging and the corresponding image domain parameters are calculated. After analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of various algorithms in detail, it is pointed out that from the quantitative performance and complexity From a comprehensive point of view, vector quantization is more suitable for SAR raw data compression.
