02号西瓜是由甘肃省兰州市农科所培育的杂种一代西瓜新品种。在全省西瓜品种区试中,综合性状超过对照P_2,产量高于对照11％。参加全国第三轮西瓜品种中熟组区试,在北方区02号综合性状超过对照新澄和新红宝。1990年通过鉴定。特征特性 02号西瓜为中熟杂种一代,植株生长势强,抗病性及抗逆性均强,主蔓10节左右出现第一朵雌花,留瓜以第二朵雌花为宜。
