为使我国英语专业的教师和研究生拥有一套权威性的语言学和应用语言学的英文原版著作,更方便地从事本专业领域的学习和研究,上海外语教育出版社引进了一套英国牛津大学出版社在本世纪八九十年代出版的应用语言学丛书。全套丛书共19本,其内容大致可以分成4类:第一类,语言教学和学习,如《语言教学面面观》、《语言教学的基本概念》、《语言教学的问题和可选策略》、《语言教学的环境与文化》、《英语教学史》、《应用语言学原理与实践》、《语言教学交际法》、《语言学习认知法》等;第二类,第二语言习得,如《第二语言习得概论》、《第二语言习得研究》、《第二语言研究方法》、《语言与理解》等;第三类,语言测试,如《语言测试要略》、《语言测试实践》、《客观语言测试》等;第四类,其他,如《语料库、检索与搭配》、《口语语法》、《实用文体学》、《话语与文学》等。这套丛书的特点是:(一)以语言教学为中心;(二)强调理论与实践相结合;(三)开展跨学科和多学科的研究。作者大多是从事英语作为第二语言教学的资深教授,以及从事应用语言学或有关学科研究的高级研究人员。可以说,这套丛书反映了20世纪西方应用语言学研究的学术水平和新的成果,有助于我国读者了解和把握这一领?
In order to enable English teachers and graduate students in our country to possess a set of authoritative English original works of linguistics and applied linguistics and to study and study more conveniently in this field of specialization, Shanghai Foreign Language Education Press introduced a set of Oxford University Publishers in the eighties and nineties published series of Applied Linguistics. The whole series consists of 19 books, which can be divided into four categories. The first category includes language teaching and learning such as “language teaching”, “basic concepts of language teaching”, “problems of language teaching and optional strategies”, “ Language Teaching Environment and Culture ”,“ History of English Teaching ”,“ Applied Linguistics Principles and Practice ”,“ Language Teaching Communication Law ”,“ Language Learning Cognition Law ”and so on; second type, second language acquisition, such as “Introduction to Second Language Acquisition,” “Second Language Acquisition Study,” “Second Language Research Methodology,” “Language and Comprehension,” and so on. Thirdly, language tests such as “Language Testing Strategies,” “Language Testing Practice, ”“ objective language test ”and so on; the fourth category, others, such as“ corpus, retrieval and collocation ”,“ spoken grammar ”,“ practical stylistics ”,“ discourse and literature ”and so on. The characteristics of this series are: (1) focusing on language teaching; (2) emphasizing the combination of theory and practice; and (3) conducting interdisciplinary and multidisciplinary research. The authors are mostly senior professors engaged in teaching English as a second language, as well as senior researchers engaged in applied linguistics or research in related disciplines. It can be said that this series of books reflects the academic standards and new achievements of western applied linguistics research in the 20th century and helps our readers to understand and grasp this leader.
