概况中国农业大学图书馆功能齐全,设备先进,资源丰富,并拥有一支专业化的信息服务队伍,是进行学术研究与信息交流的最佳场所。由原北京农业大学图书馆与原北京农业工程大学图书馆组成,分别位于东、西西个校区,西馆馆舍于1990年10月启用,在建筑设计方面率先突破了我国传统藏书楼式的布局,采用模数式、大平面的全开架管理方式。馆舍面积12000平方米,共分4层,1600个阅览座位。东馆馆舍于1987年建成,而积为9550平方米。藏书总量为159万册,期刊5000多种,形成了以农业科学、生物科学和农业工程文献为主体的文献保障体系。图书馆现有工作人员117人,其中,具有高级职称的工作人员37人。
