Qu You’s creation of the New Scissor Lamp in the early Ming Dynasty was one of the most classical novels in the world that have a multinational influence. Mostly to the occasion of the Yuan and Ming war records, literati catastrophe and children’s love (ghosts and ghosts love) as the theme, which accounted for the largest proportion of the most attractive is a ghost story. Through the analysis of the story of ghosts and romances from the funeral customs, this kind of folk customs is closely related to the beliefs of ghosts and gods and the concepts of yin and yang. It can be said that such beliefs and concepts gave birth to funeral customs. It is also an innovation that goes beyond analyzing the textual plot and author’s experience. Hope that through analysis can better understand the social function of this folk, to try to figure out the opportunities for Chinese culture and Chinese psychology, and to promote the “cutting new words,” a greater breakthrough in research.
