酷暑来临，炎热难耐，我们暂且放下手中的琐事，到游泳池里、到河里、到海里，畅游一番，清凉一夏吧。
我们去游泳吧。

我报名参加了一些游泳课程。
I’ve signed up for some swimming classes.

Have you checked out the beaches?
这里的回头浪有点大。
The 2)undertow is a little strong here.
记得涂上防晒油。
Remember to 3)slap on some sunscreen.
他是个了不起的游泳能手。
He’s a fairly strong swimmer.
游泳完全是一项全身运动。
Swimming is a total body 4)workout.
你能从跳板上跳水吗？
Can you do flips off the board?
浅水区禁止跳水。
No diving in the shallow end.
我喜欢做水下倒立的花样。
I love doing underwater handstands.

My breaststroke is stronger than my front crawl.
蝶泳总会让我忍俊不禁。
The butterfly stroke always makes me giggle.
我从狗爬式开始学游泳。
I started by learning to doggy paddle.
我总是沉下去，从没浮起来过。
I never float—I always sink!

Look at the kids doing starfishes.

How long can you hold your breath?

The water is so nice today.
爸爸把我扔到深水区教我学游泳。
My dad taught me by tossing me into the deep end.

The floaty toys are so much fun.
或许你应该穿件救生衣。
Maybe you should use a lifejacket.
