我的祖父荆林,山西阳高人,1945年8月参加革命,同年10月加入中国共产党,时任阳高县五区农会主任。1947年1月16日,遭国民党军袭击,为掩护战友撤退,不幸腿部中弹被俘。在狱中,他面对敌人的酷刑和胁迫,宁死不屈。1月20日夜,被活埋于阳高县城东门外……奋起抗争1904年,祖父出生在阳高县景家庙村的一户农民家庭。他幼年丧父,从小与母亲和哥哥相依为命,因家境贫困,只上过3年学。
