轮轨磨耗对机车转向架参数与轨道参数相互关系极为敏感。在机车修理和轨道维修都各有章可循的状况下,进一步深入探讨其相互关系对轮轨磨耗的影响仍很有必要,有些参数可以试验调整。小半径曲线是产生轮轨磨耗最严重的地段,经常运行于这种地段的内燃机车转向架参数,如回转摩擦矩、端轴自由横动量、一、二、三轴横动量比例值等,有必要进行试验调整。另外,轨道也有必要进行欠超高及加大曲线外轨轨底坡试验。并相应注意减少该地段列车最高速度与最低速度之差值,以期收到减轻轮轨磨耗的综合效果。
