河北省唐县的南城子水库其实是个山塘,它给钓鱼人的第一印象就是“深”。山塘水面约二三十亩,3米以上的深水区占90%以上,只有西北角、东北角、西南角三个短短的沟汊为3米以下的浅水区。它是一个典型的定期放鱼按天收费的投放塘,在11月9日～12日的那场给北方各省带来严重雪灾并使全国许多地区提前约一个月进入冬季的特大寒潮到来的前后和过程中,我和钓友们先后四次赴南城子水库钓鱼,在这四次冬钓活动中,我都以钓获量的绝对优势荣获“冠军”。四钓南城子水库,几乎是我冬钓深水的初次尝试,它不但使我得到了可观的鱼获,而且使我获得了许多关于冬钓深水钓场的新见识。
