《少年自然百科辞典》生物、生理卫生分册最近已由上海少年儿童出版社出版,这是我国第一部以中学生为读者对象、装帧精美的大型工具书。本书收有1900余条词目,附有双色插图和彩色照片2000多幅,约80万字。为了编好这本书,组织了几十个单位近六十位专家、学者,以及编辑、美工各方面人员共同努力,经历了五年的时间完成了编写工作。本书收词广泛,释文严谨,定义确切,概念清楚,内容丰富,资料新颖可靠,文字浅显生动。本分册较系统地介绍了生物学的基本知识,例如细胞、胚胎、遗传、生物化学、生态环境、微生物、植物、动物、人体解剖及生理、人体卫生等,其中有些词条是《辞海》中没有收入的,它代表着我国生物学研究的现阶段的水平和成就,例如生物控制论、生物计算机、生
